Changing mindset around failures

Changing mindset around my ‘fails’ last week:

❌Two prospects post-poned work
❌I didn’t fit in any runs
❌The holiday I want is slightly out of my budget

Mindset shift:

✅ They aren’t a no, just a not yet. Stay on track and keep them warm.
✅ I was focused on work, I needed a rest and I can ask myself what can I do next week to make sure I prioritise my health at least once?
✅ So what do I need to do to make it in my budget?

A slight shift in narrative around what you might deem your “failures” can dramatically change the way you approach your life the following day, week or month.

Curiosity is key 🔑

🤔 Get curious about why you might have struggled to do something?
🤔 Get curious about the way you might have pitched to a client that hasn’t made them say yes (life circumstances taken into consideration)
🤔 Get curious about your actions and become more self aware

I rarely see things as failures because I shift my internal narrative and approach to them by treating them all as lessons and chances to get curious.

I’m sharing these “weekly fails” because I often see “weekly wins” yet, I think the problem isn’t that we don’t know how to win, it’s that we don’t know how to turn our failures into wins.

The first step starts with accepting them as a way to reflect.

So have a great week, go fail and then find ways to shift your narrative 😉
